Serial killer dismissed from service
Mangalore, Nov 4,Deccan Herald News Service:

Public Instructions Department has dismissed from service serial killer Mohan Kumar, who is presently in judicial custody.



The DDPI has issued the dismissal order on Tuesday (November 3). “A second show-cause notice had been served to Mohan Kumar on October 27 seeking his reaction in seven days. Since there is no response from him, he has been dismissed,” said DDPI C Chame Gowda.

The accused has been dismissed for he was irregular in his duty from October 24, 2002 to August 1, 2005 and was absent from service from August 3, 2005 till the day he was arrested by the police on October 21 this year. Mohan entered the teaching profession on November 13, 1984 as a teacher in the Government Higher Primary School Shiradi on a contract basis. His service was regularised on February 19, 1991.
