Engineer ends life

Bangalore, July 15, 2013, DHNS:

A software engineer allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train near Kengeri railway station on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as N Somanath, 30, a resident of Gowdarapalya in Padmanabhanagar. The body was discovered by local residents who alerted police.
A purported suicide note found on the body read: “I am ending my life and nobody is responsible for my death.” According to police, the reason for the suicide is still unknown. Somanath was unmarried.

Motorcyclist killed

A motorcycle rider was killed in the Electronics City traffic police limits early on Monday morning. 


The dead has been identified as Manoj Shetty, 23, a resident of Electronics City and a TCS staffer. According to the police, the accident took place at around 3 am when he was returning home.

He lost control while negotiating a curve at Singasandra and rode into the median grill. He suffered serious injuries and died on the spot,” police said. Shetty hailed from Sagar.
The body has been shifted to Victoria Hospital.
