A woman along with her two children committed suicide by jumping into a well at Gotakanapura in the taluk on Friday. The incident came to light on Saturday morning.

The deceased are Shobha (27), Nandish (3) and Indushri (2). Police said that Shobha was married to Rajanna six years ago but allegedly was harassed for dowry. She went missing from Friday and her body along with that of the children were traced to a well in the village on Saturday. A case has been registered.
