Swords to be distributed to youth

Hundreds of youth in city will be given swords to protect Hindu religion, on September 15, said State Working President of Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha Pranavnanda Swamiji.

Addressing media, here recently, he said, a campaign was being held across the State where swords were being distributed to the youth, as a symbol of bravery.  
He said the swords were not distributed to impart violence and hatred.

Swords have been distributed to more than 500 youth at Davangere, Haveri and Ranibennur.  Opposing establishment of Tipu University proposed at Srirangapatna, he said that the proposed varsity, if established could turn out into factory ‘producing terrorists’ in the region.
