Krishimela from Nov 19
Bangalore, Nov 11, DHNS:

The four-day Krishimela, organised by the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore jointly with the State Department of Agricultural Development will be held on the GKVK campus from November 19 to 22.


Objective of the mela is to create awareness among the farmers about the recent technical know-how in agriculture and allied areas. Around four lakh farmers from different parts of the State and the neighbouring states are expected to attend the event.

More than 500 exhibitors from different agro-based industries, NGOs and SHGs will take part in it. Organic farming will be given special emphasis with various organic farming practices being exhibited at the mela. Apart from animal husbandry, farm machineries will also be on display.
