Teachers promised better deal

Bangalore, Sept 13, 2013, dhns:

The problems faced by school teachers with regard to promotions and transfers will be solved by next April or May, said Minister for Primary and Higher Education, Kimmane Ratnakar.

Speaking here on Friday, he said, he will also try to meet at least 50 percent of all the demands of teachers. “I am inviting teachers to suggest ways to improve the education system. If their points are valid, I will try and include  them in my plans,” said Ratnakar.
