The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday questioned BJP MPs Prakash Javadekar and Bhupendra Yadav in connection with a sting operation in which they were shown purportedly discussing ways to influence Tulsiram Prajapati’s mother to help Modi’s close aide Amit Shah.

Prajapati, who was allegedly a witness to Sohrabuddin Sheikh’s murder, was killed on December 2006, a year after Sheikh was shot dead in a fake encounter in Gujarat.Yadav was quizzed in the morning, while Javadekar came to the CBI headquarters in the afternoon.

On Thursday, the CBI questioned Congress MP Naveen Jindal in connection with the coal block allocation scam, making Javadekar the third MP to be quizzed by the agency in two days.
