Election to 25 Legislative Council seats in Karnataka on Dec 18
Bangalore, Nov 17, (PTI):

The Election Commission will conduct election to 25 seats of the Karnataka Legislative Council from local bodies on December 18.

According to calendar of events announced by EC, the notification for the polls will be issued on November 24 and the last date for filing of nominations is December one. Nominations will be scrutinised on December 2 and December 4 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature, sources in Chief Electoral Office here said.

only people who are menmbers of local bodies( gram panchayat, taluk , jilla panchayat....) can vote...
