JOIN USThe Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, G Parameshwara, on Monday said the party has already shortlisted candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections and the list will be released in December.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said that the list was prepared in consultation with the observers and has been sent to the party high command. He hoped that the high command will gives its nod for the list at the earliest.
Parameshwara said the Congress would sweep the Lok Sabha polls in the State.
The voters have supported the Congress in a big way in the recent Assembly elections and the party is confident that the voters would give a similar mandate in view of the good governance by the party government in the State.
The Congress will seek votes on the basis of its government’s performance. He said the poll strategies would be planned at the earliest.
