Karnataka’s Shodhan Rai and Roshan Ferrao will represent India in the World Natural Body Building and Fitness Championship which is being held at Nevada, United States, from November 7 to 12.
Meanwhile, a 11-member Indian contingent are taking part in the WABBA Mr and Ms Universe Championship in Germany on November 16 and 17. Three of the 11 members of the squad (Venkatesh Krishna, Gopala Balakrishna, Manoj Kumar) hail from the State.
Debataji Singh will be the captain of the Indian contingent.
In a further filip to body building in the country, Udupi will be hosting the eighth Asia-Pacific Body Building Championship from May 10-12 next year.
