Paryaya 2010: Office, logo inaugurated
The office and logo of the Paryaya Welcome Committee of the ‘Shiroor mutt Paryaya Mohathsava’ scheduled on January 18, 2010 was inaugurated here by the Shiroor mutt Seer Sri Laxmivaratheertha Sripada at the mutt premises on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Seer informed that the mutt has chalked out elaborate plans facilitating devotees during its two year term Paryaya festival. The plans will be executed during the initial phase of the Paryaya. Arrangements will be made for 12 hour mass food service at the temple. Devotees will be able to get a glimpse of Lord Krishna without much difficulty. Besides, the mutt has also decided to add more grandeur to ‘Hora Kanike Utsava’ during the occasion, he said.
Kemaru mutt seer Esha Vittala Swami, Dakhshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishath President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Industrialist Pramodh Madhvaraj, Scholar Krishnamurthy Samaga, Ranjan Kalkura, S D Pilithiya, Kakunje Vasudev Achar and others were present.
