Woman robbed of valuables
Vasanth Philips, a resident of Vinayak Street on Kammanahalli Main Road, was robbed of her valuables on Thursday night.
She was returning home after attending her relative’s wedding reception, when two miscreants threatened her at knife point on Oil Mill Road and snatched her gold chain, ring, cellphone and Rs 5,000 cash, the police said.
In another incident in Madivala police limits on Thursday, two miscreants waylaid Krishna Goparaj when he was learning to drive his car with the help of his friend Srinivas on 38th Main, BTM Layout Stage II in KS Layout. They threatened them with a knife.
According to police, when Krishna Goparaj resisted, they assaulted him and snatched his gold chain, a credit card, cellphone and car keys and fled the scene.
Krishna had sustained injuries on his neck and was being treated in a hospital, police said.
