Traffic diversion: Avoid these roads on Sunday evening

Traffic police have identified routes to reach Krishna Vihar Maidan in Palace Grounds where a public meeting will be held on Sunday at 5 pm in the backdrop of the visit of new Sarasanghachalak of Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat.
*Vehicles from Mysore Road: Mysore Road, Kengeri Check Post, Outer Ring Road, Gorguntepalya, CMTI, MIS Road, Hebbal-Bellary Road, Upper Ramp Mekhri Circle, Jayamahal Road and Palace Grounds. *Vehicles from Mysore Road: CMTI, MIS Road, Hebbal-Bellary Road, Upper Ramp Mekhri Circle, Jayamahal Road and Palace Grounds. *Vehicles from Kanakapura Road: NICE Road, Kengeri Check Post, Outer Ring Road, Gorguntepalya, CMTI, MIS Road, Hebbal-Bellary Road, Upper Ramp Mekhri Circle, Jayamahal Road and Palace Grounds. *Vehicles from Old Madras Road: Outer Ring Road, Hebbal flyover, Hebbal PS, CBI Junction, Sanjaynagar Cross, Upper Ramp Mekhri Circle, Jayamahal Road and Palace Grounds. *Vehicles from Bellary Road: IAF, Bagalur Cross, Kogilu Cross, Jakkur, GKVK, Amruthalli, Kodigehalli, Kempapura, Hebbal Flyover, Hebbal PS, CBI Junction, Sanjaynagar Cross, Upper Mekhri Ramp, Jayamahal Road and Palace Ground. *Vehicles from Indiranagar, Shivajinagar and Koramangala: Shivajinagar, Cantonment Junction, Jayamahal Road and Doordarshan Kendra. *Vehicles from Jayanagar, Basavanagudi and Chamarajpet: Bellary Road, Mekhri Circle and Palace Grounds. *Vehicles from Vijayanagar: Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram, Yeshwanthpura, CV Raman Road, BHEL, Mekhri Circle and Palace Grounds.
Exit routes
*Palace Grounds-Jayamahal Road, Mekhri Circle down ramp, Bellary Road, Hebbal flyover and Outer Ring Road. *Palace Grounds-Jayamahal Road-Mekhri Circle-Sadashivanagar PS Circle, BHEL, Yeshwanthpura, Marappanapalya, CMTI and Tumkur Road.
Routes to parking lots
*Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) from Majestic, Vijaynagar, Corporation, Basavanagudi and Bangalore South can come through Palace Guttalli, Cauvery Junction, can take U turn at Mekhri Circle and reach the parking lot using Tripura Vasini Gate. *LMVs from Malleswaram, Rajajinagar and Mahalakshmi Layout can come through Bhashyam Circle, Cauvery Junction, Ramana Maharshi Vana and park at space identified in Sadashivanagar. Heavy vehicles can take right turn at Mekhri Circle, move on Jayamahal Road and reach the parking lot using Amanulla Khan Gate. *LMVs from Yeswanthpura, Dasarahalli and Tavarkere can come through Sadashivanagar police station junction, can take right turn at Mekhri Circle and reach the parking lot using Tripura Vasini Gate. *LMVs from Hebbal and Yelahanka can come through Ganganagar, Mekhri Circle down ramp and reach the lot using Gayatri Vihar Gate. *Heavy vehicles from Anekal, Marathalli, Ulsoor and Jayanagar can come through JC Nagar police station and reach Mavinakai Mandi Maidan near Fun World premises. nSpecial guests can enter the Palace Grounds from Main Gate-Krishna Vihar Gate number 1 and 2 near Mekhri Circle. *LMVs and buses from Electronic City, Madivala and Bangalore South can come through Basaveshwar Circle, Old High Grounds police station, Mount Carmell College and enter the Palace Ground from main gate, can take left turn, can use Scorpion office Road and reach the point in Mavinakai Mandi Maidan.
Business fair
Those participating in International Business Fair (decor industry) at International Trade Centre in Palace Grounds have been requested to postpone their visit after 3 pm due to vehicular congestion. Citizens have also been requested to use alternative roads as there is likely to be jam on Jayamahal Road and Bellary Road.
