Youth found dead in lodge

A team leader with a top private company was found dead at a lodge in Cottonpet on Friday. According to police, Venkatagirish (39) hailed from Mysore and was residing at Koramangala

Girish had checked into the lodge on December 9 and did not come out of his room since then. The staff at the lodge then grew suspicious and broke open the door to enter the room where they found him dead.

It is suspected that he consumed poison on the day he checked in. Police said no death note was found in the room.

The family members are said to have told the police that Girish was depressed over not getting married and hence might have taken the extreme step.

Police clueless

The City police are clueless about the reason for the suicide of N Gopi and his family members. A close associate of former MLA Vatal Nagaraj, Gopi was found dead along with his wife, son and daughter at his home in Nagavarapalya, on Thursday. The last rites were performed on Friday.
