After plush wedding, starry reception for Shilpa Shetty

Mumbai, Nov 25 (PTI):

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's wedding reception was a star-studded affair with bigwigs Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan dropping in to wish the couple a happy life ahead.

The marriage two days ago was a private affair with select people attending, but the reception held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel at suburban Kalina here last night was a lavish event.

While Shilpa glowed in a sequinned creamy golden dress by Tarun Tahiliani, her London-based businessman husband Raj Kundra looked suave in a black sherwani.
"I'm looking forward to having fun and just want to share this happy moment with all my friends," said Shilpa before entering the venue.

Big B attended the reception alongwith superstar daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, while Shah Rukh and Hrithik came in along with their spouses Gauri and Suzanne respectively.
"She is a very good friend of mine, we have judged 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' together and she also appeared in 'Om Shanti Om', I'm very happy she is getting married because that is the best thing she could do," said film-maker Farah Khan.

Other prominent celebrities who upped the glam quotient included Rekha, Jayaprada, Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Suniel Shetty, Govinda, singer Sunidhi Chauhan and director Madhur Bhandarkar.

The actress had tied the knot with Kundra in a traditional Mangalorean ceremony at businesswoman Kiran Bawa's villa in Khandala on Sunday.
