3 hurt in cylinder burst

Three persons were injured, two of them seriously, after a gas cylinder burst at their 3rd floor residence in Sampangiramnagar on Thursday morning.
Swastik Singh from Kolkata is battling for life and the condition of Ramdas from Mumbai is also stated to be serious. Shiva Kumar of Mysore, however, is out of danger.
The incident occurred when Swastik Singh lit a match stick. According to the police, regulator of the cylinder was not turned off on Wednesday night, thus resulting in the accident. The victims were running a courier shop named Assami Courier Service in Sampangiramnagar. They are now undergoing treatment at Victoria Hospital. Chain snatched
A woman was relieved of a piece of her gold chain near Jalakantheshwar Cross in B Street on Wednesday night. Jayanthi of Kadabagere Cross was sitting on a window seat of a bus and there were only a few passengers. When a miscreant tried to snatch her chain through the window, alert Jayanthi cried for help. The miscreant fled the scene with a piece of her gold chain.
