The Karnataka Film Exhibitors’ Federation has clarified that it would not take part in the film industry bandh, if any, on January 27.
Federation President R R Odugoudar said that exhibitors had no role in the reported bandh call and there was no question of they supporting the bandh call, if given by somebody.
“We are an independent body, and around 700 single-screen theatres in the State come under our federation,” Odugoudar said.
