Govt warns Star Plus over reality show
New Delhi, Nov 27, PTI:
Amid speculation that the second season of the controversial reality show ‘Sach Ka Saamna’ is in the offing, Government on Friday warned Star Plus to keep in mind the Indian values, ethos and culture in mind while formatting a programme based on an international format failing which it could invite stringent action.
The ministry had sent a show cause notice to the channel on July 22 this year, when it was airing the show, as it found its contents “vulgar, indecent and against good taste and decency.”
