JOIN USActor and Housing Minister Ambarish is said to be recovering at Vikram Hospital in the City.
Speaking to reporters about the 61-year-old minister’s health here on Tuesday, a team of doctors which has been treating him said that he is likely to be off the ventilator in a day’s time.
“We have reduced the dosage of sedation drugs. His condition has improved,” Dr Raveesh said, adding that he is stable. He said that Ambarish’s renal parameters had shown improvement. “His creatinine levels have reached 1.4 which is close to normal. Ideally, it has to be 1.3,” the doctor said. Dr Ajay Rao, anaesthetist, said that he would soon be off the ventilator. “We will continue to assess him on a regular basis.”
The minister who has hypertension, diabetes mellitus, controlled sleep apnoea and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was admitted to the hospital after he complained of breathlessness and discomfort.
