Campaign against Green Hunt

The natives of Chhattisgarh living in the forested regions of the State have started mobilising people across India against the Operation Green Hunt starting from December 14 to flush out Left extremists.
A delegation under the banner of Jurmil Morcha, in association with Campaign for Justice and Peace (Karnataka) was in the City on Friday, seeking support against the operation that may displace tribals from the forested areas. The Morcha is organising a five-day campaign which began from Sunday to garner more support.
