On their path to success

Goodwill Christian College For Women bid adieu to its outgoing batch of students at a grand graduation ceremony held recently. 

The theme for the event was ‘Great Depth to Great Heights’. 

The event witnessed around 255 students graduating. 

Chief guest Anil Belvadi , an independent scholar with over 25 years of academic experience abroad, spoke on the occasion.

He emphasised that the students should familiarise themselves with the law of the land and join social networks where civil rights are discussed and advocated.

The college also felicitated some of the top achievers of the batch. 

Principal Shobha Stephen and the chief guest gave away the prizes. 

The young women took an oath to serve the society better and lit candles. 

The event was a joyous one though many were left teary-eyed as they realised that their fun-filled years are over and they had to prepare themselves to face the world.

 The principal wished the students well for all their future endeavours and asked them to be righteous all their life. 

She said, “Your own resolve to be a success is more important than anything else.”

She emphasised that even if the road gets tough, people who are morally correct always come out as winners.
