See past exam papers with this NSUI app

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has backed a technology company which has come up with an app that provides students easy access to previous years’ Delhi University question papers.

In a move to rope in more voters, NSUI with the help of the private company has launched this app before the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) elections. PaperPedia is available on Google Play. “Many students are smartphone and social media users,” said National General Secretary, NSUI Mohit Sharma, adding that his party plans to conceptualise and finance more student friendly apps.

“For many years now, we have been setting up help desks for admission seekers. We have been giving out booklets – which have information on various colleges, admission procedure, contact details of deans and professors. Now all that would be also available through another mobile app,” said Sharma.

NSUI said they also plan to reach out to students in other universities through these apps. The party’s first app PaperPedia, for instance, claims it would later provide a comprehensive collection of previous years’ papers of various universities.

Currently, the one-week old app contains question papers of Delhi University and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).

“Students can save precious time that is often wasted in searching previous years’ papers before the exams,” said Deepak Gambhir, the co-founder of iManiac Technology, which is the developer of the mobile app.
