Rising prices a matter of concern: Sharma
New Delhi, Dec14, (Reuters):

Rising wholesale prices are a matter of concern and the government is monitoring prices of essential commodities, Trade Minister Anand Sharma said on Monday.

Data showed on Monday wholesale price index rose 4.78 percent in November from a year earlier, higher than previous month's annual rise of 1.34 percent.

"Rising inflation is a cause for concern. The government is monitoring the prices of essential commodities," Sharma told reporters.
