Campaigning ends for Council polls

 
This is in accordance with Section 126 of the Representation of Peoples Act 1951, the State Election Commissioner said in an official release.

No meetings, processions, distribution of materials related to the campaigning will be allowed after the scheduled deadline.  Any violation of this order will invite imprisonment of two years and a penalty, the release said.
