Chandulal Jain no more

Film producer Chandulal Jain passed away in Bangalore on Thursday. Jain (75) had been suffering from severe illness for sometime. He died at his residence in Rajajinagar.

He is survived by wife and four children.

Jain produced 37 movies including Thayi Devaru, Bhakta Siriyala, Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu in Kannada and Godhuli in Hindi.

Jain, a cloth merchant by profession, entered into film field in the early 1970s because of some of his friends in the film field. His last movie was Bahala Channagide in which Shivaraj

Kumar played the lead role. Chief Minister Yeddyurappa has condoled his death.  The funeral was held at Harischandra Ghat on Thursday evening.
