Before he could settle into the excitement of the success of Gokula, Vijay Raghavendra has already signed up for his next action film titled Radha.Radha, directed by Harikiran, is about a mechanic who falls in love with a girl and lands himself in lot of trouble.
Talking more about the film, he says, “When I read the script, it sounded good to me and I took it up. I have never done a mass character like this before and would like to explore the actor in me for this role. Director Harikiran seems confident about the project and his knowledge of cinematography is unmatched,” says Vijay.
The actor has tweaked his looks for the movie. He continues to retain his long mane, “I’d just chopped my hair but now I have begun to grow it again for Radha as the role demands such a look,” he says. Radha is Telugu actress Madhulika’s debut in Kannada. She is being cast opposite Vijay. Sathya Babu is the cameraman and Ravi Ala composes the music.
The movie will be shot in Madanapalli, Andhra border and Chikmagalur district. The other cast in the movie are Guruprasad, Jayaprakash Reddy, Rangayana Raghu, MS Narayan, Bhavya and Anusha.
