Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University presided over the function. GS Revankar, Additional District and Session Judge, City Civil Court, was the chief guest and film actress and dancer Hema Panchamukhiru was the guest of honour.
GS Revankar highlighted the student’s life as ‘golden life’ and said that is the reason why he doesn’t miss any college function. He appreciated the faculty of PESCP for their dedication, involvement and excellence.
Hema Panchamukhi asked students to study well and perform well in arts too. She told them to make use of their higher studies and apply that knowledge to enrich our culture and heritage. MR Doreswamy emphasised the importance of organising such programmes and participation of students in such activities.
This leads to the development of leadership skills, he said. The management focusses on the overall development of students by encouraging such activities, he added.
He disclosed his plan of conducting an international conference in 2015 with global participation of eminent researchers and pharma industrialists. Doreswamy also expressed the management’s interest in securing employment for all graduating students.
