Somanna may make it to Cabinet

V Somanna, who recently joined the saffron fold, is likely to be the sole candidate to be inducted into the Cabinet in the next few days.
According to sources in the BJP, Somanna is likely to be given a ministerial berth after the first year celebrations of the government scheduled on May 31.
With all the 34 cabinet berths filled up, Yeddyurappa will have to axe one of the ministers to accommodate Somanna.
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is likely to drop either partyman Krishanaiah Setty or one of the independent MLAs who have been made ministers - Goolihatti Shekar or P M Narendraswamy, the sources added.
