Swamy, however, said there are just 1,017 illegal hoardings as per the reports available with him. Commissioner Lakshminarayana said that a meeting would be held and  list of all unauthorised hoardings of zones published on the website.

The mayor directed the commissioner to conduct an inquiry through Technical Vigilance Committee under Commissioner (TVCC) regarding de-silting works carried out by Palike engineers and place the report in the next meeting.

While Shanthalanagar Ward corporator, K Shivakumar pointed that due to negligent attitude of Chief Engineer for SWD, HC Ananth Swamy, Magrath Road drain work has still not been completed; corporator from Neelasandra Ward, Lokesh Nayak, complained about the overflowing of drain water from SWD in his locality. Ananth Swamy said work at Magrath Road would be completed by March next year.
