The police have invited applications from businessmen for setting up temporary stalls on BBMP grounds to sell fire crackers for the Deepavali festival.
The applications are available at DCP (CAR-Central) office on Mysuru Road and City Police Commissioner’s office, Infantry Road. Filled-in applications must be submitted on October 13, 14, 15 and 17, 2016, between 11 am and 5 pm at the DC (CAR-Central) office.
Temporary permission would be given based on a draw of lots.
The applicants should enclose two separate demand drafts for Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 drawn in favour of DGP and Director, Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services and Police Commissioner, Benglauru city respectively. The applicants should also enclose two passport-size photographs, proof of residence, self-declared affidavit of applying for only one ground and the temporary Tax Payer Identification Number for setting up of the stall.
The draw of lots will take place at 11 am on October 21 at DCP (CAR-Central) office, while the permissions will be issued on October 24.
