The vegetarian restaurant, located in Vijayanagar, offers a wide range of breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner items to its diners. All the food items are prepared with care and served as soon as possible. A wide range of instant mixes are diluted, heated and served according to requirement. “This innovative model is going to bring back the Udupi style of restaurants in a new format, by countering the shortage in vegetarian cooks and other related problems faced by the vegetarian restaurant industry,” says Lalitha Rao Sahib, owner of the restaurant.
The restaurant serves a traditional South Indian breakfast in the morning till noon. Food items like ‘idli vada’, ‘rice pongal’, ‘upma’, ‘kesari bath’, ‘onion rawa dosa’, ‘chow chow bath’, ‘Udupi mini buns’ and more can be relished here. Some of the afternoon specials include ‘parata with curry’, ‘bisibele bath’, ‘methi corn palao’ and ‘vangi bath’. They even have North-Indian delights like ‘kucha’ and ‘butter tandoor multigrain roti’ that can be enjoyed with ‘dal tadka’ and ‘methi kofta’.
