Italian super-luxury sports car major Automobili Lamborghini recently opened its new dealership and service centre in Bengaluru.

The new 4,350 sq ft Lamborghini Bengaluru showroom is the brand’s third dealership in India (after Mumbai and Delhi), and will offer the entire range of Lamborghini products - the Aventador line-up along with the recently launched Huracán LP 610-4. The Lamborghini Aventador line-up includes the Aventador Roadster LP 700-4 and Aventador Coupé LP 700-4. Within the dedicated showroom, a distinct customer lounge and staff, specially trained in Italy, will greet customers.

According to Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO, Automobili Lamborghini, “Bengaluru comprises of a high density of High Net Worth Individuals (HNI). Lamborghini Bengaluru is part of the plan to strengthen the brand’s presence and sales network in the southern regions of India.”

“India holds a good potential and recognising this, Lamborghini is among the early entrants of the super-luxury sports car brands to establish itself here. Today, the audience here for Lamborghini is far wider than just its owners,” he added.

The company also opened a service centre parallel to the inauguration of its dealership in the City. Much like the dealership, the new Lamborghini Service Centre, will serve as a service hub for Lamborghini cars across South India, and has been built with an investment of around Rs 25 crore.

Hoysala Automotives, the sole dealer for Lamborghini cars in the region and owner of the dealership in Bengaluru, has opened the centre as well.

“There are around 30 Lamborghini cars in South India. Until now, these cars had to be taken to Mumbai for servicing, but from now on, the cars will be brought here itself,” Hoysala Automotives Chairman and Managing Director T S Sateesh told Deccan Herald.

The centre is located on the wide new airport road, with free-flowing traffic, which facilitates easy testing of the engines and running of the cars, prior to and post-service, Sateesh said.

Talking about plans for the future, Sateesh said,  “South India is a growing market for luxury cars, and we expect more customers in the coming months. The new government coming at the Centre, along with few relaxed policies, will help dealers like us improve our business,” he said, adding that the company will set a sales target by January (for next year).

The 4,500 sq ft service centre will tow in cars for servicing from across the region on special trucks meant for the purpose. A crew of 10 specially-trained technicians, engineers and mechanics will work on three cars at any given time.
