“What is my mistake? You guys are threatening me and making abusive phone calls, while I am sitting with my family members. Should I commit suicide now,” said Dr R N family members, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Kota district.

He had just received another phone  threat from a supporter of suspended BJP legislator Prahlad Gunjal.
Kota police have now registered another case against one Dilip Shukla for threatening the CMHO for recording and circulating the threatening call earlier made by Gunjal.

A recording Dalip Shukla's threat call  has also gone viral on WhatsApp.
In the audio clip, Shukla is heard saying, “We will find out who leaked the recording of Gunjal’s call on WhatsApp. If it’s leaked through your mobile you will not be able to serve again in your lifetime. Each and every word said by Gunjal will become reality.”

Replying to the threats, Dr R N Yadav said, “Should I commit suicide now”

Meanwhile, both the cases have been handed over to CID-CB. Gunjal is a legislator, and according to the protocol, local police cannot conduct a probe against any legislator.

Cases against Gunjal and Shukla have been lodged under IPC section 387 (putting person in fear of death), 353 (preventing government official from discharging duty) and 189 (giving life threat to a government official).

“All the three IPC sections are of serious nature for any elected public representative. If the charges are proved, the legislator may get imprisonment for seven years,” said AK Jain, a senior advocate at Rajasthan High Court.

Meanwhile, state's Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria has assured a fair and transparent probe in this issue.

After the matter came in media glare, the central leadership of the BJP took prompt action and suspended the legislator.

Amid the present controversies, another audio clip of a BJP leader has came into limelight.

In that, he is heard using foul language while talking to Deputy SP of Nainwa town of Bundi district.

The incident is reportedly three months old when a curfew was imposed after disturbance at a religious function. BJP chairman of Nainwa municipal council Pramod Jain called the deputy SP and misbehaved with him on the pretext that the police used force on local women.
