Separate videos and an audio tape of two BJP leaders on Sunday surfaced in the social media with purportedly showing them threatening voters in local bodies elections in Kota and rebuking a police officer for not lifting the curfew in Bundi district.

Video uploads purportedly showed BJP MLA from Ladpura in Kota, Bhawani Singh Rajawat, wooing and threatening voters during the recent local bodies elections.

While an audio tape of Pramod Jain, municipality chairman of Nainwa sub-division of Bundi district, rebuking a police official for relaxing the curfew during communal tension in Nainwa in September this year also surfaced.

In the video, Rajawat is not only allegedly wooing voters but also threatening them of driving them out of their illegally built dwellings, if not voted to BJP.

In another video, Rajawat is shown scolding and rebuking a deputy SP on duty.
When contacted, Rajawat did not receive repeated calls. In an audio clip, Nainwa municipality chairman Promod Jain is heard allegedly rebuking a deputy SP for imposing a curfew.
The audio is reported to be of September 9 this year when Nainwa region was passing through communal tension and curfew was imposed.

Reacting to the clippings, Kota district BJP president Hament Vijayvargeya said he has not seen the video and audio clippings so far as he was busy in state party meetings.
“I have not seen and heard them so far,” he said.
