Last Updated 27 December 2014, 18:54 IST

Are you a fan of the English Premier League? Do you think that you may never get to watch the likes of Alexis Sanchez or Cesc Fabregas in the flesh?

Your dream may be close to becoming a reality if Bengaluru FC have their way.

For the club has confirmed that they are in talks with a Premier League side to come and play a pre-season friendly here sometime during July 2015.  “I can’t obviously give the name of the team but yes there have been talks with a (Premier League) side,” BFC CEO, Parth Jindal, said on Friday.

“They (the club in question) first approached us and we responded to them and we are talking to them right now.  If it happens, it will happen next pre-season (July 2015).”

The club have also been talking to a couple of ISL sides for a tour. While the identity of the side remains under lock and key, there are strong indications that it could well be North London giants Arsenal.

The EPL side have toured Asia in three of the last four years and have been keen to connect with the huge fan base in South East Asia.

There have also been a couple of reports in UK newspapers which has said that the club has agreed to play two pre-season friendlies in India. Will it happen? Only time will tell.
