JOIN USAn international brand set across 14 different cities across the world like New York, Hong Kong and Madrid, Fiat Caffe Car-O-Bar is the first-of-its-kind cafe in India. The automobile themed cafe and bar boasts of an Italian inheritance and a bit of spunk. Offering globally inspired food, the place has vintage lounge sofas and has used various parts of a car to enhance the beauty of its interiors. The cocktails have been created by professional mixologists and the menu is handcrafted and offers the choicest of ingredients.
“We started the place in 2013 as a dealership. But after looking at the car cafes across the world, we took things a step further. We saw what places like Hong Kong, China, Madrid and New York were doing and took their example in terms of brand building,” explains Adit Morzaria, owner, Fiat Caffe Car-O-Bar. “We revamped the place and started the cafe in the second week of January this year,” he adds.
Split into two levels, Fiat Caffe Car-O-Bar has a seating area upstairs accompanied by the Number-Plate Bar and a downstairs area which during the day functions as the Fiat Showroom and by night, turns into a performance stage for bands, stand-up comedy, karaoke and a lot more fun events. It houses a one-of-a-kind DJ console, which is literally created in the hood of a car.
A visual delight that adds to the quirky interiors is the use of a vertical cross-section of an actual Fiat Punto Evo.
Some of the must-haves here are the delicious finger foods like pork ribs, lamb burger and nachos. A variety of pastas and Thai curry with rice are for those with a bigger appetite. “We are more into quick foods that are easy to eat and not very messy. We have a compact menu and the pork ribs and lamb burger are my personal recommendations,” he adds.
Located just a few blocks south of Indiranagar’s 100 Feet Road and a few blocks North of the area’s busiest business park, Fiat Caffe Car-O-Bar is the perfect place to unwind and socialise. From the weekday happy hours to our weekends of power-packed performances, foodies always have something to look forward to. “We have had live bands and DJs performing. We are planning to introduce some stand-up acts too,” he informs.
