Duathlon on June 14
Runners for Life, in collaboration with TI Cycles and Ride a Cycle Foundation, will conduct the BSA Hercules Duathlon on June 14.
After kicking off from the Inventure Academy in Koramangala, the competition, involving running and cycling, will be held on the long stretch between Sarjapur and Varthur.
“The duathlon is more than a mere test of endurance and spirit. It is an opportunity for like-minded people to get out and experience life. The conditions we live in now are not exactly calming but this effort will prove fruitful,” said Arvind Bharathi, Manager of RFL.
Participants are open to chose from two categories -- the 30km and the 15km events.
“This event will bring to light the interest in health. We have covered all possible areas which could stop people from taking part in the event,” said N Shankar, Manager of TI Cycles, who was also present.

Events: 30k (5k run+20k cycling+5k run). 15k (2.5k run+10k cycling+2.5k run). Chidren’s event: Obstacle course and Thinkathon.
