The collection encompasses designs in soothing fabrics of cotton, linen, soft denims and georgette. It has an interesting interplay of pastel hues and core colours such as white, navy, fuchsia and denim blues.

The ‘Beach Bums’ range exemplifies breezy resort wear. Be it scuba blue, white, sea green or bright coral, the collection has shades specially crafted to refresh and invigorate. It is categorised by structured silhouettes, stripes and tropical patterns.

The ‘Summer Vineyard’ line redefines elegance with a palette of bright yellow, spearmint and cotton candy pink on sheer fabrics such as georgette, lace and poly crepe. The collection comprises maxi dresses, high-waist bottoms and bustiers with floral and graphic prints. The ‘Road Trip’ range spells comfort chic through bold, eclectic prints in exotic silhouettes. Girls can experiment with geometrical patterns and vintage styles. Digitised floral prints, peppy wide leg trousers and palazzos in bright colours represent the carnival festivities outdoors.

 “Our latest collection has been carefully crafted by amalgamating the latest global trends with elements of Indian ethnicity. The fashion essentials for this season in women’s wear include breezy resort wear in bright tropical prints, floral explosion in modern silhouettes and eclectic Bohemian fusion wear,” says Srinivasa Rao, Head – Marketing, Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd. “Men’s fashion is all about sharp styling while playing with quirkiness.

Code by Lifestyle, the  smart dressing brand for the new age man has recently been given a vibrant personality,” he adds.The brand also offers a range of ethnic designs. ‘Melange by Lifestyle’ offers an eclectic collection. Eye-catching kurtas can be paired with palazzos, pants and printed leggings.

Men can opt for the ‘Beach Summer’ collection which has natural tones and vibrant colours. T-shirts and shorts are available in breathable fabrics. The ‘Indigo Denim’ range is highlighted by ombre effects, faded washes and repaired looks. They can also opt for the business wear. Mandarin collared shirts and monotone patterns dominate this collection. Light-weight linen jackets in pastel shades paired with crisp shirts in classic white and navy blue are also a part of the collection.
Meera, a first-year PGDM student of St Joseph’s College of Business Administration, sported the right look for summer with a black floral-printed dress from Code and shoes from ginger.

Punchline: “The collection is really nice. Ginger has a variety of ballerinas which are comfortable too.” 

Esai,  wore a blue shirt from Code, beige trousers from Foca and blue Foca shoes. Price: Shirt (Rs 1,099), trousers (Rs 1,699) and shoes (Rs 1,999).
Punchline: “The trousers are very comfortable. The brand has a range of shirts with different designs and in various colours. They are all quite trendy.”

Chetali, a final-year B.Com student of Mount Carmel College, went for a blue top, peach heeled shoes and yellow lace skirt. All were from Ginger.

Punchline: “I just love the clothes of the brand. They are very comfortable and apt for summer.”

Imtiyaz Khan, wore a green khaki shirt from United Colors of Benetton and jeans from Wrangler. His shoes and belt were from Forca.
Price: Shirt (Rs 2,099), jeans (Rs 2,195), belt (Rs 999) and shoes (Rs 1,799).
Punchline: “The fabrics are breathable and comfortable to wear. I like the belt a lot. The entire collection is very good.”

Gayatri, a final-year B.Sc student of St Joseph’s College of Arts and Science, opted for a Ginger crop top with red pants from Code and sleek heeled shoes.
Price: Top (Rs 599), pants (Rs 1,799) and shoes (Rs 3,000).
Punchline: “Most brands don’t have my fit but pleasantly, these clothes fit me really well.”

Abhishek Chinnappa, a global BBM graduate  wore a Louis Philippe blazer, yellow T-shirt and trousers from Fame Forever and shoes from Forca.
Price: Blazer (Rs 6,999), yellow T-shirt (Rs 399), trousers (Rs 1,299) and shoes (Rs 1,799).
Punchline: “The look is elegant and the blazer is vibrant. The blazer is also soft and you can wear it even during summer.”
