JOIN USAn outdoor gym at Sankey Tank Park, Sadashivanagar was inaugurated recently by Sandalwood actor Puneeth Rajkumar. The outdoor fitness equipment is designed and manufactured by Bangalore-based ‘Koochie Play Systems’. The aim of the it is to promote health and fitness, among public free of cost. The CMD of ‘Koochie Play Systems’, Roben Dass were also present.
The outdoor fitness equipment can be used without professional guidance, irrespective of age or gender and is said to help the citizens of Bengaluru lead a healthier lifestyle.Fondly known as ‘Power Star’, actor Puneeth lauded the fitness equipment as user-friendly and described it as a “welcome change” at park, especially for the children of the current generation who are addicted to technology and hardly go outdoors to play.
As a Bengaluru boy, through and through, he fondly recalled childhood memories around Sadashivnagar and said that the area is very special to him. “There has never been a corner in Sadashivnagar that I haven’t stepped into. Sankey Park has always been my second home and Sankey Tank is one of the highlights in our area,” he said. However, not for nothing is he called as a ‘Power Star’ as Puneeth shares that he also used to run around Sankey Park as a child.
Busy shooting for his next movie, ‘Rana Vikrama’, in which he plays the role of a cop, Puneeth said that it is exciting to work in a thriller movie.
“The movie is in its post-production stages and I am looking forward to the release. I hope the movie will be received well by the people.”
