40,539 sites to be allotted at Kempegowda layout

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said the government will soon allot 40,539 sites to site-seekers waiting for their sites at the proposed Nadaprabhu Kempegowda layout.

In a reply to a question by T A Saravana (JD-S), the chief minister said that tenders were called for the works and now the work has been awarded for the formation of the layout.

He cited the High Court order and other litigations as reason for delay in the formation of the proposed layout. The member had questioned about the delay in formation of the layout and allocation of sites. He also said that apartments will also be built on 450 acres of land at the proposed layout.
