In a stellar career where he’s achieved pretty much everything the sport has to offer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni added another feather to his cap in front of his beloved fans.

Cheered on ‘Dhoni, Dhoni’ at the M A Chidambaram Stadium — a place that’s become the former skipper’s second home thanks to his association with Chennai Super Kings — the Jharkhandi slammed his 66th ODI half-century to take his international tally of fifties to a staggering 100.

The 36-year-old, who only plays the shorter format and recently competed in his 300th ODI, has struck 33 half-centuries in Tests and one in T20I as well.

Dhoni thus become the 13th cricketer in international cricket to complete a century of half-centuries.

Legends Sachin Tendulkar (164), Rahul Dravid (146) and Sourav Ganguly (107) are the other Indian players that have surpassed the milestone of a ton of fifties.
