Salman's 'Kick' nominated for international stunt awards

The ardent fans of Salman Khan have got a reason to celebrate now. Well, the Salman Khan starrer action flick 'Kick' has been nominated for the international stunts award, Taurus World Stunt Awards, reports DNA.

'Kick' has been nominated for Best High Work and Best Stunt Rigging, and will be competing with '22 Jump Street' and 'Transformers' for bagging the international award.

The stunts in the film were absolutely thrilling. It's learnt that drones were used to capture the action sequences during the shooting of 'Kick'.

Directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is a remake of a Telugu film of the same name.

The screenplay was written by Nadiadwala and Chetan Bhagat.

Besides Salman Khan, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles.

'Kick' was released in about 5000 screens worldwide on July 25, 2014 and it had left the cash registers ringing at the box-office.

The 'Kick' actor recently shared a video on Instagram and Twitter in which he is seen feeding monkeys.

The video link has been retweeted nearly 1,164 times and liked by  2,325 people.

Salmans's upcoming films include 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.
