Delhi Daredevils coach Gary Kirsten is a relieved man. The Daredevils have finally got going in the new edition with back-to-back victories and Kirsten hoped the "two little injections of confidence” will keep their winning momentum going.

“It is good to get the wins. It is important for us to get that winning feeling again and the winning habit. I am pleased from that perspective. I am happy the way the guys have responded to pressure situations,” Kirsten said on eve of their match against KKR which begins Daredevils’ stretch of four home games.

“We would be looking to create some momentum, that's the key. Just keep the momentum going and maintain that form. We have had two nice little injections of confidence now.”

Daredevils had a series of close finishes but Kirsten prefers to draw positive out of it.
“Yes, I have been close to having a heart attack. But it is good to have those, to kind of get used to them. This was something that we needed to do and to be able to pull through in two of them has been fantastic, We need to understand what we needed to do with our combination and we are happy to get them right,” he said.

Imran Tahir and Amit Mishra have played crucial roles in their performance but Kirsten had words of praise for all his bowlers. “They (Tahir and Mishra) are key bowlers without a doubt. They are important to us. But it's not only them. We have got (Nathan) Coulter-Nile, who really bowled well yesterday and closed the game for us. That's what you need in T20 cricket, you need to have guys who can be good with the bat and with the ball. That’s exciting. We need game breakers.”

Captain Jean Paul Duminy felt they had finally found the right balance in the side.
“We made a couple of errors but we somehow found a way to get two points. I think we have figured our combination as far as batting is concerned and it's going pretty well now,” he said.
