At the sixth annual Women in the World Summit, Indian journalist Barkha Dutt showed a foreign reporter the mirror when the latter said "India is so unsafe for women".
While discussing about gender issues and safety of women, foreign reporter Norah referred to Nirbhaya's rape case and stated that women are very unsafe in India.
To this, Barkha Dutt quipped that according to statistics drawn out by Nobel laureate Amartya Sen, the number of sexual violence cases in the US and UK are more than that in India.
Unlike other countries, India had a women Prime Minster four decades ago, she further stated.
