Trains cancelled, diverted due to Gujjars agitation

Owing to continuing agitation of Gujjars causing disruption in train services, the following trains have been diverted or cancelled.

They include: Train No. 22633 Thiruvananthapuram – Nizamuddin weekly superfast,  scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14.30 hours on May 27 and Train No. 22655 Thiruvananthapuram – Nizamuddin Express,  scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 01.00 hours on May 27 have been cancelled.

Meanwhile, Train No.12432 Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram at 10.55 hours on May 27 will be running in the diverted route of Kalyan Junction, Bhopal Junction and Jhansi Junction, according to a press release.

In order to provide an alternate arrangement for the cancelled trains owing to the Gujjar agitation at Dumaria Station in West Frontier Railway and to clear the extra rush of passengers, a special superfast train will be operated from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Panvel via Konkan route. Accordingly, Train No.06060 Thiruvananthapuram – Panvel Superfast Special Train, will leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14.30 hours on May 27, stopping at Thrissur (20.00 hours), Shoranur (21.15 hours), Kozhikode (22.55 hours), Kannur (00.20 hours on 28th), Kasaragod (01.23 hours), Mangaluru Junction (02.30 hours), Madgaon (08.15 hours) and arriving at Panvel at 18.05 hours on May 28, 2015.
