Inspired by real life incident, debutant director Ishwar K, seeks to spotlight on the social malaise – rape. Having drawn audiences with a promising title, Ishwar, however, lets one down, unable to eschew commercial demands.

Instead of sensitive and subtle delination of the topical subject, Ishwar, populates it with songs and preachy dialogues, which only spoils the entire show. The poorly scripted fare revolves around Akash, MA (Literature), a flower boutique owner, who falls for Bhoomi, working in a electronics store. He proposes, she, however, spurns. Persistent, he begins to stalk her, so much so, in order to ensure the message he cannot mess with her, she feigns to reciprocate, only to slap him when time comes.

Meanwhile, Bhoomi’s brothers are baying for his blood. The reason being they believe he has raped her. What’s the truth? What follows next? What happens to Akash and Bhoomi’? These are posers best left unseen than visiting Patharagitti to rue a ruined time. As Ishwar & Co tease and test your patience with tripe, your heart is aflutter to scoot to the nearest exit for breath of fresh air to be free from the suffocating tripe. Sad!
