Wife worried about missing German doc
The wife of a German psychiatrist says she is extremely nervous about her husband’s sudden disappearance from Anjuna, three days ago.
Dr Juergen Dapprich, 56, has been missing since January 19. He was last seen riding a scooter headed for Baga where he helps out in a local hospital.
“It’s very strange. This is such a small part of Goa, but no one saw him from the time he left our shop on Tuesday morning to go to the hospital in Baga,” Saskia Dapprich told Deccan Herald. Baga is less than 5 km away from Anjuna, but so far there has been no trace of the psychiatrist, who was not carrying a cellphone.
The Dapprichs settled in Anjuna in 2002. They run a cloth business on the coast and their two daughters study in a local school.
Saskia says her husband’s disappearance is completely out of character with a man devoted to his family and their clothes import business.
