Digital India Week: STPI directs IT firms to screen Modi's speech

Ahead of the Digital India week, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) has issued a directive to all major IT firms in Bangalore, instructing them to screen the event and watch Prime Minister Modi's speech without fail.

As per the STPI directive, all the software companies must make arrangements for the broadcast of the Digital India Initiative programme to be held on July 1, 2015 at the IG Stadium in New Delhi.

Senior director of STPI, Devyesh Tyagi has also asked the IT employees to give a feedback after watching the programme, as per an Indian Express report.

Besides this, the CEOs and nodal officers of the IT firms have been asked to participate in the programme at the IG Stadium .

The software companies have also been directed to advertise the event on their websites.
