The learning pursuit is very important. There should not be compromise with discipline. The individual brilliance has to work. He said it is essential for each one to learn to work in a team. He called upon students to transform themselves and emerge as team leader. Team work is extremely important in the organisation. He said one should start learning from everybody.

The students after joining the organisation should adopt the mentor to learn more.

In an industry one needs a mentor. He said ‘be committed whatever you do. Integrity both in operations and honest towards oneself is the key value, which will take you towards heights’, he added.

Asserting that any business of world exists to make profit, Kumar said “if you are in a business you have to make profits. If you are not making profit you have no business to be in the businesses, he said adding it is the fundamental truth.

Challenges will start mounting everyday and the global business scenario is changing day by day.”

Anything will affect the businesses. If there is no growth what will happen, especially in the macro economy.   He said ‘gone  are the days of inclusive business, it is global business.

Keep abreast of the development in the world especially over the global economy. The geo-political development is another area of concern.’

He said competition will continue in life and the budding managers should compete with best of the best. The people at the top look things differently and where the innovation comes into picture. He urged students to keep asking questions so that one can challenge the existing practice would take place. Being innovative would give the recognition, he said.

Emphasising over revolutionary changes in the technological arena, he said the outgoing students should keep abreast of the technology. The three basics like data, analytic and algorithm would surely change the world scenario. He said strategy is also very important. People need to look beyond today  and added there is no need for the title, what matters is the image.
