Course for food entrepreneurs

Central Food Technological Research Institute is organising a four-day programme in business development in food processing industry from July 20 to 24. It focuses on training entrepreneurs for establishing microfinancing and refinancing with insights on agriculture, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and other support systems that can enable the participants to form their own self-help groups. Procedures and laws in setting up food processing units will be explained to help people set up their own food business. Candidates with a basic degree/knowledge in food processing are eligible. 3D animation modelling
InGame is conducting a six-month course from August 1 in 3D modelling and texturing for video games. Students and graduates who are passionate about learning gaming and digital sketching can take part in this programme. However, candidates will be shortlisted based on their skills. Classes will be conducted for five days per week. Candidates with knowledge of 3ds Max/Maya/Photoshop and Video Game Art workflow are eligible. Hackathon
Wipro Digital will host a day-long coding event - ‘Code the Future’ on Saturday, July 11, 2015 for digital programming aspirants to develop mobile and web-based applications. MSc in Sports Leadership
UK-based Loughborough University’s London campus is inviting applications for its MSc in Sports Leadership course. The course has two study options: the duration of the full time course is one year. Students interested in applying for the course would require an upper second class honours degree in relevant subjects and an overall IELTS score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in individual categories.The programme will commence from September 2015, with applications welcome before the end of July. Vocational courses
AISECT, an ICT and skill​​-based education and training provider, has announced a partnership with Ireland-based ALISON to provide a free e-learning platform for students. Certificate  in Biosciences
A 16-week full-time program will leverage the industry leadership strengths of Biocon and the academic rigor of KGI to benefit participants and make them readily employable.

Executive education
Admission for the  eighth batch of the Executive Post Graduate Program (EPGP) in Management for the year 2015-2017 for working executives has now begun at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK).
